Location: Victoria
Focus: Postpartum Doula
Language: English

I am a visitor in the beautiful unceded lands of the Lək̓ʷəŋən peoples. I am of mixed Chinese, Polynesian, English, and Irish ancestry. I have a background in Indigenous, anti-oppressive social work (MSW), herbalism, and over 12 years of experience in youth work, food justice, disability, and family support. I am passionate about land-based healing and nourishment through food and plant medicine.

My own journey into parenthood knocked me off my feet; I didn’t know it was this hard. This ignited my passion for birth work and my desire to help others reclaim the ceremony of the postpartum period. As your doula, I will strive to create a safe environment where you feel respected, informed, and empowered. When you work with me, you will be supported holistically, without judgment, and in a way that puts your preferences first. I believe when life givers are wrapped up in community care, you can better access your inner knowledge to make the best choices for your journey.

I respect each person’s intersectional identities and am committed to supporting all pregnancy outcomes. My care is rooted in a trauma-informed, culturally and gender-affirming, and decolonizing approach. I would be honored to work with you as a guide and companion, to hold a safe space for your joy, tears, grief, celebration, and all the messiness in between.
