I’m a Queer, mixed womxn of Antiguan (of Antigua and Barbuda) and Slovakian ancestry. I was born, live and grow on the traditional and stolen territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. I’m a writer, community helper, and life-long student—but my most favourite role is that of Sister. Growing up, my house was regularly filled with children—from family to chosen family alike. But my journey into doula work began as a young adult, when I supported my parents through the births of my three siblings. These experiences pushed me to become a community helper.

I felt called to support BIPOC birth givers in gaining access to the resources they need during their journey, turning towards birth work to share my skills and knowledge in a way that is both Queer and culturally affirming. I offer emotional, spiritual, and physical support across the full spectrum of prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. My aim is to empower birth givers in a way that honours every facet of their being. Through connections I’ve made on my learning journey, I’ve seen the importance of community to support life in all stages of growth.

I’m honoured to be given the opportunity to extend my hand as Sister to those who welcome me to their community—through life and births. Other offerings: mindfulness/meditation practices, postpartum meal support, Birth Stories.
