I am originally from the lands tended by the Multnomah tribes of Portland, Oregon. I have ancestral and cultural roots in West Africa, Scotland, Greece and the overthrown Kingdom of Hawai'i. I graduated from University of Portland's School of Nursing in 2018, and have since completed the Perinatal Nursing Certification and currently work within that specialty.

I have loved the birthing a postpartum process for as long as I can remember. However as I've gained more experience I've recognized the health disparities and trauma experienced by BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA, and immigrant communities in the birthing space. I've witnessed how lack of (or separation from) community can leave birthing parents struggling with their mental health and to provide the care they had wanted to their children and families.

I have a strong desire to provide for my community through postpartum care. Many of us are so excited for pregnancy and birth that preparing for postpartum is often an overlooked. I recognize that supportive postpartum care can help birthers and their families begin their parenting journey from a place of joy, confidence, and restoration and hope to have the opportunity  to support you through this special time.
