Q (they/them) is a queer, non-binary, Filipinx settler of Ibanag, Ilokano, and Tagalog descent. Having primarily been a postpartum doula, Q is now opening their practice to include births as a response to the needs of clients and the Collective. They balance their practice with being a full-time student in the JD/JID program at UVic — doulawyer!

Q has a familial approach to birthwork - they want it to feel like your cousin is there with you, advocating for you, and supporting your family through one of their most transformational times. Q strives to work not only with Black, Indigenous, and birthers of Colour, but also Queer and Trans families.

They love cooking new dishes and would love to cook your favourite cultural comfort meals for you - or you can try a Filipino dish!!
