I provide trauma-informed and culturally affirming care to pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people. I have been a Doula since 2018 and have provided support to 50+ families. I love building supportive and caring relationships with my clients. My doula support includes childbirth education, birth planning, emotional support to address fears and questions, as well as continuous labour support from early labour until after your baby is born. I provide extended postpartum care for six weeks which can include infant feeding support, overnight visits, newborn care, and rest and nourishment for birthing parents.
Pregnancy, birth and postpartum are transformative times and should be held with compassionate care and continuous support. They should be free of harm and isolation and you should always have an advocate by your side.
I also offer wrap-around care for people choosing to end their pregnancy through medication or surgical abortion. In addition to individuals experiencing loss or miscarriage.
Other offerings: Meal support, childbirth education, Indian head massage, prenatal yoga. For more information visit www.doulatahia.com/bookings
