I am Inuk from Natsilingmiutut Nunavut  currently living as an uninvited guest on the unceded, occupied, stolen lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), and the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations.

Having grown up in East Vancouver I bring an urban Indigenous perspective to my practice rooted in service to my community. I pursue birth work as a way to contribute to the overall health of our communities. I am client-centered in valuing birthers’ right to self-determination while appreciating how intersectionality informs the birth journey. In supporting birthers with my calm focus, it is my hope to walk alongside my clients in a way that makes their birth memorable.
